Tips for Decluttering the Master Bath

If you want to make the most of your master bathroom-remodeling project, keeping your new space free of clutter is essential. Nothing can take the shine off of a luxurious bathroom quicker than towels laying over shower doors and countertops cluttered with personal hygiene products. Follow these organizational bathroom tips and you will be able to enjoy your new washroom for years to come.

  • Baskets and organizational caddies are your friends. Learn to keep personal hygiene products in decorative caddies for easy access. Hair gel, hair spray, and facial moisturizers can all be neatly tucked inside a basket for easy access. Pop your caddies inside your bathroom cabinet when not in use and your countertops will remain clutter free.
  • Extra towels need a designated place. Many people roll towels when they are dry and tuck them in a decorative container next to your shower or bathtub. Use towels that tie into the color scheme of your newly renovated master bathroom for an extra touch of pizzazz.
  •  It is far too easy to place items on the back of your toilet tank. Anything from mouthwash bottles to hairbrushes can be found resting atop a toilet tank in a cluttered bathroom. Become an organizational wizard and instead purchase decorative containers. The lids allow you to keep your everyday items out of sight, yet still close enough to be used on a daily basis. If you choose containers that work with the design of your master bath, you will end up with a room that looks like an interior designer created it.

A bathroom remodel is a great project, adding high return investment on real estate investment too. Do not let your investment go to waste by allowing your master bathroom to become cluttered and disorganized. If you do not yet have your dream bathroom, contact Columbus Bath Design today to start planning.
